I love Canary Islands. And the Canary Islands are probably one of my top spots in Europe, where there is always spring. You are an archipelago consisting of seven main islands and six smaller islands about 100 kilometers from the north-west coast of Africa at the height of Morocco and the Western Sahara. The islands were formed by volcanoes and the wind from the Sahara Desert. Each is different especially. A good old friend of mine lives on Fuerteventura, a few years ago I had visited them and as a child I attended with my family in Gran Canaria and remember wonderful vacations there.
If I manage it somehow, then I would love to soon also like away from the large and well-known visit once again and other islands, of which one often hears so little (La Gomera and El Hierro, for example). Why the Canary Islands are also interesting for me as a world traveler? I'm just saying: diving, surfing, trekking, wine, horny Beaches, a few hours flight, warm winter and a language with which I can handle! Plenty of reasons why my girlfriend has settled there some years ago. And yes, there are hostels on the islands to satisfy. And from given rise, namely a cool sweepstakes in which you can win a trip to one of the seven main islands of the Canaries, I thought to myself, I make this post with something fancy it.
The Seven Canary Heavens
- El Hierro: Popular for diving
- La Palma: Also known as the beautiful island. Green, lots of nature, ideal for walkers and Ökofreunde and with his sensational sky, the island is the hot spot for stargazers.
- La Gomera: The second smallest island of the Canary Islands, more than 1,400 meters high. Has many different vegetation zones, thrilling to explore.
- Tenerife: Known for the Teide, a volcano and Spain's highest mountain, surrounded by a bizarre lava desert. It is quiet and lonely, an area for dreamers and dreamers.
- Gran Canaria: The Partymecca, but not only for all-inclusive holiday. Volcanic scenery, great beaches. Often undervalued.
- Fuerteventura: The island for all wind and water sports: surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing - all there. Beautiful beaches and bays, cool bars.
- Lanzarote: A different kind of the Canary Islands. Volcanic moonscape crater, black sand. Lots of wine culture and the great National Park of Timanfaya.
